Grana Padano is a typical product of Northern Italy and its origins come from the Padana valley. It is an Italian cheese with Protected Designation of Origin (P.D.O).
The word “GRANA” indicates the grainy texture of this cheese. It is a cheese characterized by a hard texture, which is cooked and matured slowly. It is produced with cow’s milk which is milked every day, left to rest and then partially creamed. This cheese is produced all the year round.
MATURING: 12-16 months; 16-20 months, 20 months. Grana Padano is available in packages or grated.
